Photograph shows a train of three carriages and one of the Baldwin-built locomotives with the Sorrento Continental Hotel in the background. All the cars have advertising boards on the roof's advertising Rowland's water and Evans English Ales. Two conductors with caps can be seen with one collecting fares from the footboard. The tram is well loaded as it enters Ocean Beach Road bound for the back beach.
