The cardigans were knitted by Gavan Deppeler's Grandmother for her husband in the 1930's. They were a farming family.
Two hand knitted striped cardigans (2441.1, 2441.2). 1930's. One is dark green and grey stripes, The other is pale blue and grey stripes. Each is a slightly different pattern of narrow stripes with V- neckline and grey buttons down front. They have been well worn with some wear and holes.

The album is described as belonging to Christopher Underwood. It has been in the possession of Marie Black nee Underwood and upon her death it was her wish that it be donated to the Heytesbury District Historical Society. The album contains 105 images, mostly professionally produced carte de visit portraits. Only 5 of the images are named. The majority of them were produced between the late 19th Century and the early 20th Century. The Underwood family were pioneers in the Newfield District

The teacher was Miss Margaret Cross who taught at Newfield C 1910. School number 2991. The second photograph lists names.

Excercise book with minutes taken at two meetings held in the Waarre hall in Decemberr 1960 to resolve the problem of the local telephone exchange losing its current operator. The minutes note the majority of people who lived on Eastern Creek Rd. and Waarre Rd. at this time. Families included. Bottrel, Bramley, Lloyd, Fitzpatrick, McKenzie, Clarke, Welton, Younis, Meek, Wills, Shiells, Jeffery, Wilson, Giblett, Webb, Tranter, Stevens, Meek. The book contains a letter written to the PMG and a response. The situation was resolved when Sylvia Fitzpatrick agreed to become the telephonist and for the exchange to be relocated from the home of Roy and Minnie Ford to the Home of Jim and Sylvia Fitzpatrick.

This fungus is known as black fellows bread. It grew freely on Dr Curdie's 'run'. The Aborigines called it 'tandarook' -hence the name given to the property. It can still be found, though less abundant than formerly.
Tapered semicircular pancake layers dark brown in colour with a woody base
This skirt was probably worn of a daytime by a farmer's wife in the Timboon area early in the 20th Century.
This long rust brown taffeta circular skirt is faded, worn and torn. It has 13 rows of machine stitching around bottom, 24cms from edge. It has an elastic waist and short zip at back of waist.
