Black and white photograph of Y1 610 at Preston Workshops fitted with a route number box, showing the destination of "Special". The tram was built during March 1930 and given the Argus stamp on the rear, possibly a press launch event.

Black and white photograph of W2 488 east bound in Victoria Parade with the destination of Kew Post Office. The tram was built in Feb. 1928 and fitted with route number boxes in 4/1930. The Victoria Parade line was opened to electric trams on 15/9/1929, dating the photo to a short period of time, late 1929 or early 1930. The photos shows established hedgerows that were planted along the tram track.

Items appear to be used to simulate or play being a tram conductor with tickets collected and sorted into denominations and stapled to three cards. Tickets are not in numerical order. Tickets have been torn from the card. Card 1 - Pink City Section 6d, brown 1/-, red 1/2. green 1/3 and teal 1/9 Card 2 - Purple 9d, brown 1/-, yellow 1/6, teal 1/9, pink 5d Card 3 - Miscellaneous tickets, light yellow 9d, pink 5d, manila City Section 4d. The miscellaneous tickets consisting of Pensioner Concession check ticket, Road Passengers Services Organisation blue bus ticket 1/2, Canberra bus ticket, Metro Theatre ticket for Ben Hur (1959), Stadium Melbourne, The Show of 1959, Festival Hall TV Stars Parade (17/5/1955?) and LTAV Kooyong Sam Snyers Water Follies 1957.
Demonstrates making an item to be used by children to simulate or play being a tram conductor.

Black and white print of a W class tram body on dollies at the Holden Body Builders at Woodville Adelaide. Mr R E Jackman was the MMTB's Superintendent (Engineer) representing the Board in Adelaide for both the Holden contract and the contract with Perry Engineering for bogies or trucks for the W-class tram. Shows the tram basically complete on temporary dollies. See item 5554 for other digital images of the work.

Photograph of some 94 traffic staff in front of the Malvern Depot, possibly near the time of the MMTB absorption of the PMTT. The employees are wearing two different styles of uniforms (63 dark and 31 light) all with caps. Shows the roller doors at the top of the depot and the overhead trolley mechanism that allowed the doors to close and bypass the trolley wire. There are four trams behind the men - each showing a different destination - Windsor, Esplanade, Mont Albert and Burke Road. The three cars on the right appear to be C class cars.

Photograph of W7 1024 decorated and illuminated for the Centenary of Kew. See March 1961 Electric Traction - "W7 1024 was decorated and illuminated for the centenary of the City of Kew, and was scheduled to run between December 4 and December 16, 1960, from Kew Depot on the Mont Albert and North Balwyn lines. Its term was extended to mid-January and it was still running in early February. It was similarly decorated for the centenary of the City of Fitzroy in 1958 (see illustration E.T. 10/60). Has the MMTB stamp amd number on the rear of the print.

Set of documents for the reconstruction of tram track in St Kilda Road between Inkerman and Carlisle Streets St Kilda April and May 2024. During the works, the route 3 tram, running as a 3a, used the North West curves of the Grand Union at Balaclava junction at designated times. These curves are seldom used. Published by both VicRoads and Yarra Trams.

The postcard shows W2 543 with a Glen Iris destination, passing the Melbourne Town Hall in Swanston St at the Safety Zone with passengers boarding. Has several motor vehicles in view is an Ezywalkin advert on a building. The tram entered service on 17/11/1928 and was fitted with route number boxes during Feb. 1930, which dates the photo to c1929. The card was published by Valentine Publishing Co., printed in Great Britain as a Real Photograph.

Document prepared to provide the concepts for separation of traffic along St Kilda Road and Brighton Road using safety bars, and reserved sections of roadway between Princes Bridge and Glen Huntly Road. Dated May 1979. Has an introduction, and notes the widening of St Kilda Road south of Cochrane St and its impact. Has colour photo of Z89 in Nicholson St where the Safety bars had been installed to separate traffic, installation of Safety Zones, photos of Gothenburg, Amsterdam, and Hanover showing traffic separation, graphs showing tram passenger movement in the am peak and road usage. Looks extensively at the Domain Interchange at Park and Domain Road and the suggested layout - which was implemented in Nov. 1986. Includes a photo of a very long line of trams northbound at this intersection which has undergone many changes location, to become during 2025 the entry to Anzac station. Six drawings show the proposed separation of traffic between Alexandra Ave and Glen Huntly Road
