Poster titled "Melbourne's Painted Trams" with subtitle "Transporting Art", printed on one side of a single sheet of art paper, then folded in half, then folded in concertina style (6 panels), featuring the 15 Melbourne W2 class tramcars that were painted in the years between 1978 and 1982. Provides notes on the artists, their thoughts on the projects and details of the project. Sponsored by the Victorian Ministry for the Arts and Ministry of Transport. Notes that 14 of 15 trams had reached the end of their working lives and were to be auctioned on 7/12/1986, that No. 504, Clifton Pugh was to be donated to Museum of Victoria and that a new series of 20 painted trams were being sponsored.
