Demonstrates a The Met Uniform button.

Physical description

Button - brass - The MTA (Metropolitan Transit Authority) of The Met logo with a raised metal finish - made by Stokes Australia - approx. 23mm dia. The badge backing piece is brass. It is fitted with a lug for sewing onto a jacket and have name of manufacturer stamped on rear part. Two copies held. The second copy has a section of thread wound around the lug,

Inscriptions & markings

"Stokes & Sons Australia" stamped on the rear.
