Manuscript - printed on 2 A4 sheets, titled "Brief History of Melbourne's Horse Omnibus System", prepared by Robert Green on early public transport systems in Melbourne using horse buses. Includes references to the Melbourne Tramway and Omnibus Company (MTCo), services, lines, routes, stables, proposals for horse tramways. Notes work of Francis Clapp, the Managing Director and the eventual operation of the cable tram system in Melbourne.
