Newspaper Clipping - set of two adhered to a sheet of ruled quarto paper with punched holes on the left hand side.
1 - "12 tram rides for a dollar" - Herald newspaper 31/3/1969, written by Max Tomlinson about the introduction of the new "City Section Concession Card" on that day. Tells the story of a conductor, Mrs. Moore accidentally sold a book of 20 cards for $1 to a passenger.
2 - "Wilcox: The tube is on" - Herald newspaper 31/3/1969 - about a statement by the Minister for Transport on the HSV7-3DB TV programme "Meet the Press" - about the Melbourne underground loop.
