Reproduction of an illustration of a cable tram set in Lonsdale St Melbourne with the Melbourne Hospital in the background. Set has the lettering of "North Carlton and St Kilda", trailer number 49. Subsidiary destination of Rathdowne St and Brighton Road. Three copies held.

Inscriptions & markings

1 - Has TMSV Sales, 332 Flinders St on rear.
2 - On the rear of the print ex Colin Jones, "Mitchell" crop marks for printing and various sizing notes.
3 - handwritten in fading ink by Alf Twentyman - "Cable trailer 49 ran to Brighton Road until Dec. 1897, later ran between Queensberry St and St Kilda Esp, after Swanston St, put on North Carlton route as car 299, now at Deepdene 1968-69"
