Photograph shows W class tram No 327 in Swanston Street at the Lonsdale Street cross over, mid 1920's with the then Melbourne Hospital in the background. The conductor has already raised the three off side drop bars and set the side destination for Coburg. Details on the rear that it was from the Stephenson Collection Preston Workshops. Side on view. The tram entered service in March 1925 and converted to a W2 class tram in November 1932.
