Series of three Black & White Photographs of a postcards made by the TMSV Sales of:



.1 - Bourke Street, looking east from east of Elizbeth Street. The new Myer Emporium building dominates the streetscape with the GPO. There are several cable trams along with many vehicular traffic. Photo dates from around 1935 as the State Savings Bank of Victoria is being extend up Elizabeth to the Bourke Street corner.


.2 - Bourke Street looking west from Swanston Street. Photo c1913. Has a number of horse drawn vehicles in the view and one motor car. Coles Book Arcade on the south side and on the north side Buckley & Nunns new department store completed in 1912 but prior to Myer constructing their new store in 1914 next door.


.3 - Similar to .1, but c1910 - has L Cohen & Co, Tailors and Outfitters. in the view.
