Black & White Photograph by the TMSV Sales of the demolition of winding sheave pit - location not known. As there are four pins in this pit and the pit extends at right angles to the former double track it maybe outside a winding house. Note the size of the brick pit and the rail reinforced concrete lid. Possibly 1930s.
