Physical description

Black & White Photograph by the TMSV Sales of three cable cars heading north out of St.Kilda Road onto Princes Bridge bound for the city plus one cable car set heading southbound for Prahran. On the left is the Robert Burns Memorial statue unveiled 1904 in its original position. In the distance can been seen the Princes Bridge Railways station clock tower which resided in this position between 1901 and 1910. Prior to this was mounted on the Flinders Street Railway Station in 1882 facing the bottom of Elizabeth Street. In 1910 it was move again to Spencer Street Railway Station. Note the early Electric Street lighting in the center of the photograph. This photo dates from 1904 - 1910 period.

The photograph has a satin finish.
