Small gold balance scales in wooden case. The case is inlaid with black velvet cloth with spaces for the balance and weights. There are 2 gm weights, one 5 one 10 gm and a 2 oz in their spaces in the case. There is also one penny weight, a two penny and a 200mg. Completing the set seven differently shaped weights that are too worn out to be identified.
