"Fentongove" is situated at 3 Staley Street, California Gully. The home was built in 1867 for Mr Richard Williams who was the mine manager for the Johnsons Reef Mining Company for 36 years. Richard first worked for George Lansell, where he was the manager of a number of mines. He then went to Johnson's Reef Gold Mines as General Mine Manager, where he worked for 36 years.
