Four pages of flimsy carbon copies of information given to staff. First copy, A4 paper two pages, is 'Important Instructions to Staff'. Content includes the following instructions: 'your duty does not consist in standing in one position' and 'another matter that must be strictly practiced is the constant watching for pilfering, particularly with boys'. Second copy on foolscap paper is titled: ' General instructions and suggestions to all members of our staff'. Content includes instructions on courtesy, smiling, personality, service, appearance and economizing. Document is signed in pen by Frank J. Every.
