Historical information

Snow Crystal Inn was built by Milan Kovacic in the early 1950s. Milan, born in Hungary, had the early days of his life in Victoria at the Bonegilla Migrant Camp in Wodonga. He became a ski instructor and one of his earliest students was Skippy St. Elmo. The Inn was later demolished and replaced with Snow Crystal Apartments.

Significance

This image is significant because it captures one of the early lodges established at Falls Creek.
