Summary
An account of the origins and development of public and private schools in the Bacchus Marsh district. The period examined stretches from the late 1840s through until 1920. This comprises almost 20 schools some of which have long faded from memory. Others such as the Bacchus Marsh Primary School and Saint Bernard's Catholic School continue to this day.
