A postcard showing a scene looking west from Russell St along Collins St. Has some 7 cable trams, horse-drawn carts, and motor vehicles in view. In the view is Scotts Church, the Athenium, and the Town Hall. In the bottom left-hand corner of the card is "Printed for Commonwealth Immigration Office by Rose Stereograph Co. Vic."

Significance

Demonstrates a card printed to promote Australian Immigration to Melbourne, possibly post the first world war.
