The engraving seems to refer to Stanley George Poole (middle initial should be G not J) who served in the Royal Corps of Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, 101 Field Workshop, in Vietnam from 07 May 1966 until 12 June 1967

Physical description

Personally engraved pewter tankard with a glass bottom. Three-ringed flared base and a wide band in a beaten pattern around the middle.
