Historical information

On July 24th 1971, the Titles of the Lake Tyers Aboriginal Station were handed over by the then Governor of Victoria, Sir Rohan Delecombe, to a committee of management consisting of five koori and two white men. All adult residents of the station were to be shareholders and the property could not be disposed of without their unanimous consent.
