Historical information

On July 24 1971, the tiltles of the Lake Tyers Aboriginal Station were handed over by the then governer of Victoria Sir Rohan Delacombe, to the Committee of Management consisting of five Koori and two white men. All adult residents of the station to be shareholders and the property not to be disposed of without their unanimous consent.
