Historical information
This building was the home of the Carpenter family for about 80 years, then converted to a restaurant/wine bar known as 'Skippers'. Relocated as a private residence in 2003 and the rest of the site cleared to make way for the Lakes Entertainment Centre. This is the 'before' paired photograph used in Lakes Entrance Historical Society's '1858-2008 Sesquicentenary (150 year) exhibition'. The 'after' paired photograph is #VTMH01447.1
