House provided by the community for Miss Hammarstrom and family after Mr Hammerstrom, a fisherman, was lost at sea in 1926. The Age newspaper collected 400 pounds in an appeal to support the family. House was originally timber clad.|Also one other colour photograph similar, side of building, fibro cladding and two brick chimneys.
