Historical information

Was a small triangular shaped shop opposite the Poat Office. Was called Kings Cross Cafe when owned by Tina and Pat Paganella in the late 1960's early 1970's. Was also a Chinese Restaurant, Silver Sampan, mid - late 1970's, run by Liz and Warwick. Faye Lancaster and Heather Costigan ran it as a Fish and Chip shop around 1982. Cindy’s Takeaway by the Powells was the last business prior to it being demolished to make way for the present arcade.
