Physical description
Cream coloured card, flower border, with a tear off section on LH side. In centre of card: 1835 - 1935. Independent order o Rechabites, Centenary Temperance Pledge. I hereby promist to abstain from all intoxicating drink and to discountenance its use, manufacture and sale.
Signature and Witness.
A scroll across the bottom has the words: 'Where there is Drink, there is Danger'
The tear-off section to be filled in by the person committing to the pledge.
