1. Bendigo Advertiser 4th December 1979. 'Act Now!'. A letter to the paper written by Ken Bice and Trevor Palmer, Students of Eaglehawk High School, making the public aware of the possible dismantling of the mines. '
2. Bendigo Advertiser 4th December 1970. 'North Deborah' article quoting Mr. G. Maskiel re action to clean up the area at the North Deborah Mine at Quarry Hill.
