Small wooden stand with metal plaque attached. The plaque reads: Crusoe Reservoir Sandhurst Water Works. The first sod was laid in the foundationwith this spade on the 17th August 1872 by Mrs MacDougall wife of the right Worshiful the Mayor ot the city of Sandhurst. Contractrors: Messrs. Fishburn, Morton and Kennedy. Engineer T. Brady
