Small wooden stand with metal plaque attached. The plaque reads: Crusoe Reservoir Sandhurst Water Works. The first sod was laid in the foundation with this spade on the 17th August 1872 by Mrs MacDougall wife of the right Worshipful the Mayor of the city of Sandhurst. Contractors: Messrs. Fishburn, Morton and Kennedy. Engineer T. Brady
