Water Polo was introduced at the Bendigo Municipal Baths in 1926/27. By November 1933 Bendigo had its own Water polo league that continues to this day
Bendigo Advertiser '' The way we were'' from 2002. Cooling off: Graeme Hyde scores a game of water polo on Australia Day in 1953 at the Bendigo Municipal Baths. It is interesting to note the grandstand at the upper reserve, which is now the QEO. The clip is in a folder.
