Historical information
Thomas Lowe was born in Derbyshire, England in 1827 and came to Australia in 1854. He settled at Sheepwash , becoming a farmer and grazier. He died there 27/3/1900.
Physical description
G. A. Jones Collection; Invoice from Thomas Lowe, Dairyman to A Jones. Blue paper with black print. At the top is printed : Sheepwash, dated Áug 31st 1882. Mr Jones. Bought of Thomas Lowe, Dairyman which is held onto the base receipt with a small metal pin. Underneath the heading hand written in ink is Aug 31st. 40, 4, £13.4. In pencil is; "paid.........." hand written on the back is; "T Lowe 345 and Jones". Box 625
