Diggers & mining. The gold era. In 1857, the Yan Yean reservoir was opened, and Melbourne was ensured of a good water supply. Slide shows a good picture of the lake with a couple of people in the foreground. Markings 55 994.031 GOL:5. Used as a teaching aid.
