Historical information
Building of the Police Barracks began in 1860. It included accommodation, mess room, kitchen and living room. Outhouses included lock-up, stables, toilets, storage and an officers house. It was decommissioned in 1939 and was later refurbished and used by the Bendigo Senior Secondary College.
