Historical information
There were two Andreas Christian Romer, father and son. The father was also referred to as Christian. He was born 1831 in Hamburg, Germany and came to Australia in 1854. He married Mary Louisa Treloar. His son Andreas Christian was born in 1888 and died in 1975. He was married to Margaret Aubrey in 1911. If this photo was taken in 1890 it must have been taken by Andreas Snr.
