3BO was opened as a B class radio station on 4th June 1931. It was initially intended to cover a radius of 50 miles but in fact could be heard all over Australia and New Zealand.
Bendigo Advertiser '' The way we were'' from 2002. On the air: radio 3BO (now 3BO FM) staff in 1951. The clip is in a folder.
