Anton Meurer (1841-1923) married Marie Johanna Denker in 1882. He was a plumber and tinsmith, an ironmonger and gasfitter. At one point he built (illegally) an eucalyptus distillery. Anton and Marie had the following children:- Albert Anthony ( 1882-1953); Ernest Christian (1884-1961 ); Frederick Louis (1886-1906); Herbert Theodore ( 1889-1977 ); Hilda Marie (1891-1959)
