Previously Sandhurst East State School established in 1873 as a replacement for the Charcoal Gully Common School.It was renamed Quarry Hill School in 1908 before moving to it's current site in Peel Street in 1910.
Bendigo Advertiser ''The way we were'' from 2002. All class: the grade 5 class at Quarry Hill State School gave big hearty smiles for their annual photo in 1960. The clip is in a folder.
