Bendigo Advertiser ''The way we were'' from 2000. Twizel: this interesting double-fronted residence at 50 Church Street, Bendigo, was built in 1865 for Nicholas Jeffrey. It is interesting with its circular chimneys constructed in a spiral pattern of red and cream brick. Later owners changed the name of the house to Mervalen. The clip is in a folder.
