Bendigo Advertiser ''The way we were'' from 2000. Avondale: built in 1896, the eclectic style of the house suggests the builder John Daley embodied features from his earlier houses. It is believed he travelled to South Africa and the house could be a reflection of his experience there. The clip is in a folder.
