Bendigo Advertiser ''The way we were'' from 2000. Plaza theatre: in 1975 the council sought funding to buy the theatre. The following year the theatre stopped screening films. In 1979, Sandhurst Trustees, acting on behalf of the trustees of the Henry Backhaus Estate, announced the Plaza Theatre would be redeveloped as shops. The clip is in a folder.
