Double Sided Newspaper Clippings on the history of The Shamrock Hotel in Bendigo, Victoria Australia. (Front of first clipping) the ground floor foyer in all of its late Victorian splendour. (Back of first clipping) the fanlight above the french doors opening out on to the first floor balcony. The delicate leadlight frames a circular river landscape painted on the glass. (Front of second clipping) the Shamrock Hotel Balcony where in October 1874 Mademoiselle de Murska performed The Last Rose of Summer to a rapt crowd of 10,000.
