Diggers & Mining. Diggers and miners. Walhalla - Gold Town. A gold rush occurred, and almost immediately a rich reef called Cohen's Reef was discovered. Mining companies were formed to work the reef, and in 1864 the batteries were crushing profitable ore. Markings: 12 995 WAL. Used as a teaching aid.
