Diggers & Mining. Diggers and miners. Walhalla - Gold Town. In about the year 1860, prospectors discovered rich gold was at Gaffney's Creek and a little later gold-bearing rock was found at Wood's Point. Markings: 7 995 WAL. Used as a teaching aid.
