A group or row of stores on the diggings was often called ''Canvas Town''. Slide shows Beauchamp's Australian Stores, Gold bought with a small hut at the rear with a chimney. Second tent - Beauchamp's Australian Store. 3rd tent unnamed. There are goods for sale outside the first tent appear to be cradles for mining. 2 children to the left of picture. Markings: 13 994.LIF. 5. Used as a teaching aid.
