Diggers & Mining. Stores at the diggings. The following two frames contain enlargements of section of the picture you have just seen, 'Forest Creek, Mount Alexander, 1852'. These enlargements will show you clearly the makeshift premises in which businesses were conducted at the diggings. In both pictures, note the diggings in the background. Markings: 8 994.LIF. 5. Used as a teaching aid.
