Black and white photograph of an official occasion held in the grandstand, the official opening of the Centre's oval and grandstand in September 1960. One of the officials may be Lawrence Clyde Higgins, Secretary of the Centre and another William Joseph Sertori, Manager. About 30 people seated may be the families of residents.
