Handwritten notes on Big Hill Tunnel. Written by Lydia Chancellor after she saw a picture of a diesel locomotive pictured in the Bendigo Advertiser on March 22nd 1968. It brought back memories of picnics and they would walk through this tunnel. Also mentions the Elphinstone Tunnel and that the Big Hill tunnel was guarded night and day during World War 1.
