Handwritten extracts from a newspaper clipping dated 19/3/1928 Bert H & the E'hawk Methodists and 13/8/1928 (B'go & Trackless Train). Bert Hinkler and the Eaglehawk Methodists tell of the protests from the Eaglehawk Methodists when Bert Hinkler landed his plane at Flemington Racecourse on Sunday March 18 1928. Also mentioned is the Matthew Flinders Bi-Centenary in Lincolnshire. Bgo and the Trackless Train describe the Trackless Train's visit to Bendigo on August 12 1928. It was an advertising medium for M. G. M. Films. Notes are dated July '74.
