White invitation with black printing inviting Mr. & Mrs. J. McIntyre to a Ball, held in the Town Hall on Tuesday June 28th, 1887 by The Mayor of Sandhurst and Mrs. Hayes. Bendigo Coat of Arms at the top of the invitation. It has a horse on the left and a bull on the right side of a shield with quartz on the top left, pick and shovel on the right, a sheaf of wheat on the bottom left and a bunch of grapes on the right. A flag at the top has the Southern Cross on it. 'Progress' is under the shield.
