The grave has a white wooden cross planted in the soil in front of an earth embankment. Writing on the cross is not clear enough to read.

Born Eaglehawk, 1884. Mother" Mary Barnes. Father: John Dowsey
John Dowsey died in 1887. In 1916 Isaac's mother gives her name as M Carroll, Wilkie St. Bendigo.
