' The old Londonderry Mine shaft has been capped after it opened in late July. The shaft was part of the Garden Gully Line, which held the greatest concentration of workings on the Bendigo Goldfield, has been capped after it opened in late July. The line starts under the Quarry Hill Golf Course and continues right through to Eaglehawk North'. (Source: Bendigo Advertiser, August 19, 2014.) Mine was located on Creek Street North, Bendigo.
