'…Staffs reduced o minimum as a result of the continued inability of companies to discover payable values. Mining costs have continued to rise disproportionately in relation to the static price of gold, with the result that decreased financial support has been given to the companies by mining investors. 'North Deborah, only mine to producr payable values and pay dividends. South Virginia and Central Deborah had payable yields on small tonnages.
